As we get into the Spring and better weather we have decided put a home-cooked honey-roast gammon joint on the menu to replace our winter Sunday roasts. This is served hot with home-made chips, two free range fried eggs (our own) and peas or beans- delicious. We can also serve it with a tasty salad, home-made crunchy coleslaw and home-made chips. Both £6.50. If you would like a starter you can have one of Amy's tasty soups or what about a caesar salad? For a pudding why not try a sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce, bread and butter pudding or raspberry sherry trifle? The usual everyday menu is always available.Lasagne,Pasta bake, jacket potatoes, scampi, cod, omelettes, paninis etc. There are the full breakfasts called appropriately 'The Full Pigeon and The Squab'(young pigeon)- after the name of our farm. There is a good childrens menu too.Choices range from home-made chicken nuggets, local Lincolnshire sausages, fishcake, chicken pasta and spaghetti bolognaise and a children's picnic box. We also do a 'bargain bites' menu with 1/2 baguettes with a hotdog sausage ,jam sandwich and portions of frozen chips for those who don't like the real thing! For those who would just like a piece of cake and a drink we have a great range of home-made cakes. Choose from Chocolate sponge, Victoria sponge, Lemon drizzle, Espresso,Malteser plus new recipes our ladies in the kitchen try out.(usually £2.20 a slice) . Enjoy them with a coffee, cappuccino, latte or hot chocolate. We always a good range of cold drinks, ranging from a can of coke, a fruit juice Dandelion and burdock or new to the farm, locally produced Apple Juices from Wisbech.
