October 22nd-October 31st THREE DAY ACTION COURSE October 25-26-27 2010 Outstanding Events and Pigeons Farm will join to hold a 3 day course.Children can take part 1-3 days. Sessions include Climbing, Pioneering, Archery, Nature Graffitti, Aeroball, Team challenges, Giant Puzzles, GPS Orienteering and more. Fully qualified instructors will run the course. Cost (to include lunch) £36.00 per day 10.00am-4.30pm. BOOK NOW Child must be 8 years and over.

October 3rd Amy, our Chef will be serving her delicious home-cooked Sunday roast lunches. The menu will include a choice of starters of Homemade soups with warm crusty rolls,delicious locally sourced joints with accompanying fresh vegetables and homemade Yorkshire puddings,with yummy puds to follow.Please ring to book to avoid disappointment.(more details to follow)

Special Lunch Deals for September Bring a child for lunch (weekdays) and with one adult maincourse get one childs half price meal. Two adults get one child's maincourse free! Drinks not included except in picnic box. Friday Homemade "Special" of the Day Chef Amy Smith will serve a maincourse and sweet i.e. Cottage Pie with vegetables and Crumble and custard £6.00the menu will vary. Preschools, Schools and Special Needs Groups Autumn is a good time to bring a group to visit the farm.We can organise a guided tour of the animals or you can just have a fun visit with the animals and play areas. There is the playbarn and animal barns if the weather is less than perfect and picnics can be eaten under cover too. Extra special prices for groups during the winter months. Cuddle and Bounce Now the new term has begun, why not bring the children after school for a trip round the animals and a play on the Jumping Pillow, Gobots, bales or pedal tractors. Burn some excess energy off while you enjoy a tasty fresh brewed coffee! The school holidays are going well, the weather has been wonderful and the farm is welcoming everyone for a great day out! Activities run every day like feeding the lambs or collecting the eggs. You can also feed the ducks on the pond and the pigs in their field. During August we shall be holding B.B.Q's out by the Play areas on Sunday afternoons from 2.30pm onwards.There will still be delicious breakfasts and lunches served in the cafe till about 2.30pm but if you want hot food after this why not relax by the Jumping Pillow or Gobots with a tasty burger or hotdog.As we have a licence you could enjoy a beer or a cooling Pimms too. August Bank Holiday Monday A great day is planned! The Climbing Wall will be here so all you fit sporty types can try your climbing skills.
Archery A new attraction here for just the day will be archery on the grass field. All you budding Robin Hoods can try to hit the targets-not as easy as you think!

This year we have joined Open Farm Sunday. This the day when Farmers welcome the public onto farms to show them how they produce our food. Throughout the country farms will throw open their doors with farm walks, demonstrations and activities to get the public to have a great day out but at the same time learn about the lives of farmers-whether they are arable or breed animals.Here at Pigeons Farm we shall open our doors for a free day at the farm! We shall have all the usual fun with the animals. During the day we shall have a farm walk around the animals with Farmer Bob, when anyone can ask questions about caring for the animals and anything else they wish to ask.There will be activities during the day like egg collecting, bottle-feeding the lambs .Butter-making will also be shown and anyone can have a go. Open Farm Sunday will also be held at a neighbouring farm Park Farm at Thorney where there will be vintage tractors,a Farmer's market,pick-your-own potatoes and lots more fun. Why not make a day of it and visit both farms-FREE entry to both. | Spring Bank Holiday Weekend May 29-31 |

We have another great weekend planned for end of May. Due to great demand THE CLIMBING WALL is coming to Pigeons Farm Sunday May 30th.We have had it here before and it's just great for all the family to test their climbing skills! It is very safe with harnesses and helmets provided.Rob and his team, from OUTSTANDING EVENTS provide help and advice to make sure you reach the top! Twice each day, 11.00am and 3.00pm, the children can help bottle-feed the lambs (see news). Egg collecting. Each day at 1.30pm the children can collect the eggs. Treasure Hunt Chicks hatching, baby rabbits and guinea pigs. Feed the ducks and piglets. |

May 1st 2nd and 3rd 2010 We have another Bank Holiday weekend to look forward to at Pigeons Farm.There are lots of young animals and birds to see with piglets,lambs, baby rabbits and guinea pigs as well as young chicks.The forecast is looking good, so get the picnic packed or why not just relax in our cafe and let us serve you some of our delicious home-made food.We have a new summer menu with some exiting new dishes on offer as well as some old favourites.Childrens meals like spaghetti bolognaise,pasta bake,sausages and homemade chips,homemade chicken nuggets and of course our Tractor Ted picnic box , containing a small baguette,cake or yoghurt,crisps and a small fruit shoot-all for £3-00. Gobots The new Gobots are proving very popular with all ages especially their secret weapons! The electric car is great for tots. Bank Holiday Monday. We shall be holding face painting sessions on Monday.Great fun for all ages!Come and pick your new image! |

Easter Weekend 2010 Good Friday April 2nd 2010 We start off the Easter Weekend with Easter Egg Hunts.Search the farm for clues and eggs. When you have found them all -collect your chocolate Easter Egg from the Cafe/ Reception.Great fun for all the family! During Good Friday we shall be butter-making again, as it was such a success with the children when we did it before.This will take place in the Educational Room. Every day the children can help collect the real eggs from our farm chickens.with Farmer Bob.Available also are Goose eggs, duck and bantam as well as chicken to take home from the shop. During the weekend Easter chicks will be hatching and baby guinea pigs are due too! There will be baby lambs and chicks to pet and all the rest of the animals who will be waiting to see you. The Easter Egg Hunts will run through till Sunday when we shall hold an Easter Bonnet competition. Prizes will go to Birth to 2 years 3-5 years- 6-10 years 11- 16 years Adult Get out your creative streak and bring along those home made bonnets for a riot of easter fun GOBOTS We have something new in the play area. Just arrived- GOBOTS- electric robots with secret weapons!!! Come and have some fun. |

CAR BOOT SALES resume after the winter break today.We shall hold them every fortnight throughout the year until the Autumn.Sellers can set-up at 6.30am and buyers are admitted at 8.00am.Cars £5.00 car and trailer £7.50 and vans £10.00. Public entry 20P. A special Mothers Day lunch will be offered in the cafe. Please book.It will be another of Amy's delicious roasts plus starters and desserts.Yum!
